Health and Social Services Fair
The Medford Public Schools Health Services Department and the Medford Board of Health invite students and caregivers to attend the Health and Social Services Fair on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Andrews Middle School!
There will be great vendors providing information about health, nutrition, physical fitness, health insurance, mental health and more.
Attendees can tour a mock teenager’s bedroom in an "In Plain Sight" showcase highlighting factors that may indicate substance use (including vaping), signs of self-harm/cutting and eating disorders, hidden in plain sight. Parents will be able to see all of the newest products on the market (vapes & zyns), products used to hide drugs & alcohol, and what to watch out for. Visitors will also be able to learn about current social media trends, and strategies for monitoring online behavior.
The Board of Health will also be holding a flu vaccine clinic during the fair. Scan the QR Code or visit the link below to register for a flu vaccine shot.
