McGlynn Elementary School Supply Lists for 2026-2027

Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5

To help in the transition for Kindergarten students and families, our Transportation department will be doing a “Touch-A-Bus” event at each of our four elementary schools on Monday, August 24!

New Student Orientation for McGlynn Elementary will be on Wednesday, August 26th. Families of new students enrolled in grades K - 5 are invited to attend and tour the School at either 10am or 4pm. The orientation lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Welcome to the start of a very exciting year! Students will begin with a “Kindergarten Mini Day” on Thursday, September 3rd starting at 9:00am.

The City of Medford is hosting a Back to School Resource Day on August 24, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Medford City Hall.

Back to School Resource Day Information: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Arabic

From July 6 through August 17, the City of Medford is collecting NEW school supplies to help local students head back to school.

Summer Eats is a program that provides FREE meals for kids and teens in Medford through August 31st. Children must be present and must eat the meals on site.

This proposal would shift implementation of the Task Force’s recommendations from School Year (SY) 2027/2028 to SY2028/2029 at the earliest.
